Dr. Badrul Hisham Irwan Thomas, born and raised in Seremban, is a passionate and dedicated medical professional committed to serving the community. Growing up in Seremban, he attended St Paul’s School and began his medical career at Hospital Tuanku Ampuan Najihah, Kuala Pilah. Outside of medicine, Dr. Badrul is an automotive enthusiast, musician etc. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and exploring historical sites.
Dr. Badrul has over 10 years of experience working in various hospitals across Malaysia, including Hospital Tuanku Ampuan Najihah, Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL), Hospital UKM (HUKM) in Cheras, and Hospital Melaka. He graduated from Universiti Sumatera Utara (USU) in Medan, North Sumatera, Indonesia, in 2012.
His passion for being a doctor stems from a desire to help people and make a difference in their lives. Inspired by the loss of a close uncle to bone tuberculosis, Dr. Badrul is dedicated to using his medical knowledge to provide the best possible care for his patients.
Driven by his commitment to patient care, Dr. Badrul opened Klinik Primaria Senawang 24 Jam in November 2022. In just a short time, the clinic has received numerous positive reviews due to his diligence in following up with patients to ensure their swift recovery. Dr. Badrul goes above and beyond to refer patients to specialists and tertiary centers when necessary and takes pride in the fact that many of his patients don’t need to return multiple times for the same medical issue.
Starting his own clinic has allowed Dr. Badrul to focus on his passion for patient care without the constraints of working in larger hospitals. While some may assume that doctors in the private sector are motivated solely by money, Dr. Badrul is more interested in ensuring his patients receive the best care possible. He treats people first, believing that the rewards, whether financial or spiritual, will follow.
